Room for rent: no longer available Stieltjesstraat in Rotterdam

In a shared 2-person apartment one space will soon become available. The rental period starts at the 1st of July and ends at the 30th of September 2022. 3 full months in total. Shorter rental periodes are not possible, unless you pay the full 3 months.

The bedroom in question is small, approx. 9m², but comfortable, fully furnished with a 1.5 person bed with a high quality matrass, wardrobes, shelves so more than enough storage space. A small workplace will be created before the new housemate moves in if needed/wanted.

The rental price is per person and excl. gas, electricity, water, local taxes.
But Incl. internet.

Recently the room had a few upgrades which are not yet photographed. Pictures follow soon! The upgrades are: new curtains, new high quality matrass, styling on the walls, side table, mini bamboo desk.

The current resident, your possible future housemate, is a friendly young woman who works in the Erasmus Medical centre. Born in Latvia and speaks very good English and quite good Dutch.

Stieltjesstraat, with its beautiful history, monumental buildings and bridges, is located on the banks of the Maas and is a special place to live. The neighborhood has everything to offer. Supermarkets within walking distance, restaurants, grocery stores and a few nice terraces where you can drink a refreshment and enjoy the view of, for example, the marina.
Noordereiland, which also has a lot to offer, is just across the Koninginnenbrug.

Blaak station is only a 6-minute bike ride or a 15-minute walk away. The well-known Markthal is located next to the station. In other words, the apartment is not far from the bustling city. Public transport, incl. metro, is nearby and shared scooters and bikes are an option. The highways A16 and A15 are in close proximity.

The apartment is part of a monumental building and is situated on the 3rd floor. Steep long stairs, no elevator. It’s fully furnished, very comfortable, and with a great view of the river Maas and his bridges.
In 2018 the apartment was fully renovated. New modern German kitchen with dish washer etc. A beautiful laminate floor, sleek walls, a nice bathroom with some vintage look features. The styling of the house is very cosy and makes you feel right at home.

The living room is located at the front of the apartment and from the couch you have a magnificent view over the Maas.
The fully equipped open kitchen has a gas hob, extractor hood, combi microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and quite a bit of storage space. The bedrooms are located at the rear of the apartment and are light and practical. Bedroom 1 is fully furnished with a double bed and wardrobe. Bedroom 2 is also fully furnished as described at the top of this advert.
The bathroom is equipped with a bath / shower combo, hard stone worktop, furniture with drawers, a cabinet with mirror, lights and a radiator. The toilet is separate from the bathroom which is very convenient.
There is a separate laundry room with a washing machine, separate dryer and storage space. The central heating boiler is also located in this room.

The entire apartment has double glazing and is fully insulated. Energy label A which is the best in terms of low energy consumption. Which comes in handy with todays high energy prices.
